"In 2017 we left Queensland to seek a home in Canberra in Woden Valley to be near our grandchildren.
After a six month search we located a brand new house built by Iconnex Concept Homes Pty. Ltd. in Mawson. The house had everything we needed, was well planned and set out, fully landscaped and needed little ongoing garden maintenance. The inside of the house had an abundance of electronic sophistication along with quality fittings and the finish was of exceptional standard. The house met all our requirements plus more.
The house was being marketed at the time by the builder Ivan Rajic and it was such a pleasure to deal direct with him. Ivan was so helpful explaining all the electronics and inclusions as well as building construction aspects. The service was far superior to that given by real estate agents we had encountered at other houses we had inspected.
We quickly decided to purchase the house and negotiated a price with Ivan which was fair to both parties. Once again we were very pleased to deal with the builder/owner and get a quick response to our offer.
We took possession of the house in late 2017 and have enjoyed about five month’s occupation to date. The house is fantastic providing us with a very comfortable standard of living. The house has a very high energy efficiency rating and the impressive cooling/heating system has only been needed a few times during the hotter months.
Throughout our occupation Ivan has always made himself available to attend to any of our queries and do any minor maintenance. We are so pleased to be able to deal direct with the builder. We have not had any major issues with our house. In our opinion it is constructed to a high standard.
